Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Colorado (“BBBS of SW CO”) is pleased to introduce Paul Plvan as BBBS of SW CO’s new Executive Director beginning July 23, 2018.
Paul has over 30 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur and 30 years total in business management, spending nearly a decade with full-service national marketing firms where he was responsible for Fortune 500 marketing programs including several of Time Inc.’s publications, Apple’s K-12 marketing division, and VISA’s fund-raising commitments to the United States Olympic Committee. Paul is a lifelong and proven entrepreneur with a track record of owning, operating and directing successful diverse businesses including founding a direct/database marketing company when he was 31 years old.
In addition to his extensive leadership experience as a senior sales and marketing executive, Paul is a mentor, motivator and team builder whose roots are now in Durango. Paul is an outdoor and sports enthusiast and loves anything to do with the mountains as well as playing hockey. Most importantly, Paul has a passion for healthy youth development, which includes being an active mentor with BBBS of SW CO, sponsoring a World Vision Youth in Ecuador and teaching Sunday school. Paul has been married for 34 years and has two adult children.
