BECOME A MENTOR

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves young people from age six through young adulthood in one-to-one mentoring friendships. Bigs and Littles hang out 4-6 hours a month doing normal, everyday activities, like seeing a movie, doing homework, playing games, dining in or out, baking, watching a show, riding bikes… the options are endless. You just have “to be” during that time and let the magic of mentorship activate!

Each match is supported by a dedicated professionally trained staff member who is always there to provide resources and support specific to the Little, mentor and family. With a Big in their life, Littles in the Big Brothers Big Sisters programs are empowered to ignite their potential as they grow in their self-esteem, strive to do better in school, and strengthen a lifelong friendship with their Big while learning basic life skills such as holding open a door or saying “thank you.”
